Buy a Car in Pointer

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

What to check before you buy

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

A car meanwhile

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.
