Winter Tires in Pointers, NJ

Winter Tires: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Pointers. What it involves: Winter tires bought or put on for the season, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Winter tires grip better in cold, snow and ice than all-season tires.

Who does what

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Good habits for your car

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

What we cover

We are based in Toronto; Pointers is not somewhere we have a location. Pointers lies about 561 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If we do not know a shop in Pointers, we say so rather than guess. Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Pointers if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
