Turo Alternative in Ruby, MI

Getting a car in Ruby

Searching for Turo alternative in Ruby? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. Here is the short version: Rent from CarmaCars directly: one company handles the car, the rental agreement, the deposit and support from the request to the return. Send a request with no payment, and pay only once we confirm the car and the full price. Turo is named only to describe what you compared; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by Turo. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

Where we are

CarmaCars has a single location, in Toronto. Ruby is outside the area we serve. At roughly 281 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Ruby is outside our delivery area.

For a drive from Toronto, a car from us works, with the kilometres priced on each car's page. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Ask us about Ruby in a request; a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why people choose us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar". Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Who this suits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

How renting with us works

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What you need to rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Ready when you are

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
