Black SUV service with this car

Black SUV service: the 2018 Audi A4 Technik. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Renting for Java

Next door to Java are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.6 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 26 litres of fuel. At our price setting, it costs about $15.05 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Getting the car booked

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
