Short term car lease: 2018 Audi A4 Technik in Java

Short term car lease and the 2018 Audi A4 Technik

Short term car lease: the 2018 Audi A4 Technik. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Renting for Java

Java is about 1,933 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Also close to Java: Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 6-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The EPA rates it at 8.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $45.15 at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting this car from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Booking in plain terms

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What to have ready

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
