Renting for Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,933 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Close by are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland, each with its own page.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 8.6 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 26 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $15.05 at our price setting.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Can you rent one?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How to book

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Ready when you are

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
