Car hire: 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance in Ruby

Car hire and the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance

For a rental car, the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Renting for Ruby

Ruby is about 2,589 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

Close by are Alder, Laurin and Junction, each with its own page.

What the figures tell you

It runs the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For every 100 km it uses about 17.4 kWh. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. Expect about $2.61 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who rents the Model Y

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Room inside

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

How renting with us works

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What to have ready

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
