Limo service and the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance

If you need a car with a driver, the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The Model Y and Ruby

We have no location in Ruby; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 2,589 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

Places around Ruby include Alder, Laurin and Junction.

Under the hood

The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For every 100 km it uses about 17.4 kWh. The EPA rates its range at 507 km. Winter cold and fast highway driving cut that down. In money, 1,000 km costs about $26.10 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model Y

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

What the Model Y is like

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

In our fleet

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

From your dates to the handover

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What we need from you

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Still deciding?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
