Loaner car: 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance in Ruby

Renting the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance

For a car while yours is off the road, the 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. After a collision, your insurer may pay for the rental once your adjuster approves it. When your adjuster approves a rental, we can bill your insurance company directly.

The figures, translated

Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Rent it from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Before pickup

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Getting the car booked

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
