What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Our A4 cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

From your dates to the handover

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your move

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
