Engine Repair in Ruby, VI

Engine Repair: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Ruby is about 3,197 km away. What this is: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Our part and the shop's part

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Between shop visits

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

A short checklist

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
