Shopping for a car in Ruby

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not sell new cars. Rent the model for a few days first, then buy from a dealer with your mind made up. Buying from a dealer is a big step; a few days in the same model, rented from us, is a sensible first one.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

What to check before you buy

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

A car meanwhile

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Toronto based

CarmaCars has no branch in Ruby. We rent from one location in Toronto. Our delivery reaches about 250 km from Toronto, and Ruby is about 3,197 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ruby if you like. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
