Shopping for a car in Ruby

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Drive it like you own it

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

A car meanwhile

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

The short answer for Ruby

CarmaCars is not in Ruby. Our one location is in Toronto. Ruby is about 3,192 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 80 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you want to check something for Ruby, send a request; a person replies honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
