The 2007 Lexus LS: an overview

Here is the 2007 Lexus LS, with its figures explained in plain words.

Under the hood

The 4.6L 8-cylinder does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.

It is rated at 12.1 L/100 km combined, so budget about 36 litres for 300 km. Around town it is rated at 14.3 L/100 km; on the highway, 9.6. For 1,000 km, budget about $211.80 at our price setting. We count premium at $1.75 a litre for the cost figures on this page.

Size and space

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Trips in the LS

Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.

Rent this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

What to have ready

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Booking in plain terms

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Let us know

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
