2004 Mazda MX-5 specs
EPA has no fuel-use rating for this model year (heavier trucks and vans are not rated). The trims and our cars are below.
The 2004 Mazda MX-5 in short
The 2004 Mazda MX-5 is listed here with each powertrain the EPA rated.
The numbers in plain words
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who rents the MX-5
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Taking it further
For a trip out of Ontario, ask first: it needs our written consent. Plan longer trips against the kilometres included each day. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.
The MX-5 in everyday use
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.
In our fleet
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
How booking works
You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
The rules, briefly
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Talk to a person
Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.

Can I rent a 2004 Mazda MX-5 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
