Oil Change in Ruby, NY

Arranging the work in Ruby

We arrange an oil change through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Ruby. In short: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. The right oil grade for your engine is in the owner's manual.

How the arrangement works

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Car care, briefly

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Before the shop starts

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
