Ruby: renting made simple

Planning a trip between Toronto and Ruby? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. A car while yours is off the road, rented by the day or the week. After a collision, your insurer may pay when your adjuster approves the rental, and we can bill them directly. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

Renting from Toronto

Ruby is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Ruby lies about 469 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Coming from the Toronto area? You can start the trip to Ruby in a car rented from us. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. Questions about Ruby? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why this works

A car to drive matters most when yours is in the shop; we bring it to you. Your car is off the road; you are not. We bring a car to you and collect it when yours is back. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. Rates are before 13% HST, and the offer shows the tax too.

Who this suits

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

What to expect when you book

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
