Winter Tires in Basic, NV

Winter Tires: how we help

Searching for winter tires in Basic? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. What it involves: Winter tires bought or put on for the season, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.

Who does what

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Getting a clear quote

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
