Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Pointers, NJ

Pointers: renting made simple

If you need a rental car in Pointers, read this first: CarmaCars works from Toronto. How it works: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. The cars below are our own listings, each with photos of that car.

What to expect

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. A request is free and commits you to nothing. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

Who rents from us

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

What we check

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking made plain

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
