Turo Alternative in Pointers, NJ

How renting works in Pointers

Planning a trip between Toronto and Pointers? CarmaCars rents in Toronto, in Canadian dollars. In short: Rent from CarmaCars directly: one company handles the car, the rental agreement, the deposit and support from the request to the return. Send a request with no payment, and pay only once we confirm the car and the full price. Turo is named only to describe what you compared; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by Turo. A person at CarmaCars reads each request and replies with an offer.

Reasons people rent from us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. Questions are answered by people who know the cars.

When it makes sense

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

What to bring

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

The steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
