Car Inspection in Ruby, ID

Getting it done

We arrange an inspection through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Ruby. In short: A mechanical inspection, for example before you buy a used car, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An inspection before you buy a used car can save you from an expensive surprise.

Our part and the shop's part

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Before the shop starts

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.

Renting from Toronto

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Ruby. We rent from Toronto. The distance is about 2,787 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.
