Brake Repair in Ruby, ID

Arranging the work in Ruby

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Ruby. The job: Brake pads, rotors and calipers checked and replaced, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A pulling car or a vibration when you brake is worth a check.

Who does what

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. A person replies within one business day. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Before the shop starts

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Between shop visits

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
