Where CarmaCars works

Our only location is in Toronto; Ruby is outside the area we serve. Ruby is about 2,787 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

For Ruby itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. If you want to check something for Ruby, send a request; a person replies honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Getting around Ruby

Neighbouring areas include Beetville, Pella and Burley.

It is about 6 km from Ruby to Burley Municipal Airport.

Worth knowing

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account. Your offer lists every charge, so the price you approve is the price you pay.

Who rents this way

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

How to book

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
