Oil Change in Ruby, ID

Oil Change in Ruby

If you need an oil change in Ruby: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. In short: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.

Who does what

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

A short checklist

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Where we deliver

Our only location is in Toronto; Ruby is outside the area we serve. By straight line Ruby is about 2,780 km from central Toronto; by road it is farther, and beyond our 80 km delivery area.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. We know shops around Toronto best; for Ruby, we say plainly what we can do. Send a request about Ruby, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

When you know your dates

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
