Car Financing in Ruby

Car Financing: what CarmaCars does

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Where we deliver

There is no CarmaCars office, lot or branch in Ruby. Ruby is about 265 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 80 km.

Shopping in Ruby? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Ruby in a request; a person answers honestly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
