Trade In in Ruby

Shopping for a car in Ruby

Shopping for a car in Ruby? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Drive it like you own it

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Questions to ask

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Distance, honestly

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Ruby; we work from Toronto. About 265 km from central Toronto, Ruby is too far for our delivery area of about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Still have a question about Ruby? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
