Auto Rental in Ruby

How renting works in Ruby

You can rent a car in Ruby from CarmaCars without visiting a branch. One thing to know: Third-party liability coverage is included in every rate; for damage to the car you choose one of three options before pickup. There is no instant booking: every request is read by a person.

Good fits

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Trips from Ruby

Algonquin Park is a popular drive, about 270 km, for lakes, trails and fall colours. Blue Mountain, about 160 km away, is another favourite, for skiing in winter and the village in summer. Extra kilometres are charged at the rate on the car's page, never a surprise rate. Ask before any border crossing: it needs our written consent.

Ruby at a glance

If you are near Ruby, Zadow, Castile and Silver Lake are close too.

Pembroke Airport is the nearest airport, roughly 38 km away. For winter trips, choose winter tires in your request on the cars that offer them.

The handover in Ruby

A car can be brought to you in Ruby, roughly 250 km from our location in Toronto. The offer shows delivery and collection fees before you approve anything.

Picking the car up yourself at our location costs nothing. A walkaround at the handover records any marks before you drive away. Airport delivery to Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is priced by distance, and a surcharge may apply.

Why rent with us in Ruby

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Questions are answered by people who know the cars. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Before you rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How to book

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Ask us

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
