Sell My Car in Ruby

Sell My Car in Ruby

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells. We do not buy cars or take trade-ins. If you would rather keep your car and have it earn, our owner program rents it out for you.

Try it for a week first

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Between cars

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.
